Meet the New 2017 Land Rover Discovery

Land Rover will soon unveil the new 2017 Land Rover Discovery, and in May it launched a marketing campaign to help raise awareness for the new vehicle. You may have seen the brand's new commercial of the Land Rover Ben Ainslie Racing (BAR) sailing team. The initiative also boasts partnerships with the Travel Channel, New York Times and CNN's Anthony Bourdain Parts Unknown.

The sailing team filmed the new Discovery ad called "Serenity in the Storm." Sir Ben Ainslie and his six-man crew trekked through desert sand dunes to the sea using the Discovery's Intelligent Seat Fold technology to configure seating arrangements through a devoted smartphone app. The classical song ‘The Blue Danube Waltz’ contrasted the tough desert storm against the Discovery's tranquil new interior. The 30-second spot is available on most major networks including ESPN, CNN, Discovery Channel, HGTV, National Geographic, and The Weather Channel.
