If you start seeing a large increase in the number of Land Rover ads that pop up in your day to day life, don't say we didn't warn you. As part of an effort to get more brand exposure and really secure the automaker's place in the hearts and minds of Americans, Land Rover is launching its largest advertising campaign ever.
Called the "Driven to Another Level" campaign, this new advertising effort will comprise everything from banner ads, to traditional television commercials, iAds, and even interactive online games. Many of these ads will feature images of the Range Rover Sport on Pikes Peak in Colorado.
You may remember from a blog post a few months back, that the Range Rover Sport set the new record for the fastest time up Pikes Peak of any production car ever. Naturally, Land Rover wants to use this record-breaking vehicle as a jump-off point for the whole campaign.
North American brand VP for Land Rover, Kim McCullough, commented on the British automakers new campaign strategy, saying, "Today, consumers build their opinions of brands based on how they present themselves in digital, social and mobile, as well as the value they offer in these channels. The most innovative aspect of the digital creative is its interactive nature and [it] enables consumers to actually experience multiple aspects of how the [Range Rover Sport] drives from their desktop, smartphone or tablet."1
If one of these new ads piques your interest in the Land Rover brand, then we suggest that you make your way to 3000 Tom Williams Way Irondale, AL to visit the Land Rover Birmingham showroom.
