Land Rover has some of the best-looking vehicles on the blacktop, and it recently earned the Best Brand Design Language honor at the 2017 Car Design Award held at the Turin Motor Show by Auto&Design Magazine.

The awards look specifically for brands that have significantly contributed to the growth of automobile design throughout the years. An international group of journalists selected the recipients in three categories: production cars, concept cars and brand design language, a new category this year.

Land Rover Chief Design Officer, Gerry McGovern, accepted the introductory Best Brand Design Language award, and stated that "This is a true team effort and one that will continue the transformation of our business.”

However, that wasn't the only cause for excitement for Land Rover. The automaker also took home second place in the Production Cars segment with the new Range Rover Velar.

The mid-size SUV will start at $49,900 when it goes on sale in the fall. It also boasts all-terrain capability so you can take it anywhere your heart desires.
